If they are, then you’ll be able to run them under cold water to remove dirt and grime (make sure they dry for at least 24 hours before re-inserting them though!)
As it’s a relatively large handheld, this makes it less convenient than some of the alternatives we’ve mentioned..: Some of the handheld vacuums we’ve reviewed have tools that are built into the vacuum, meaning that they are always easily available.

Let’s start by clarifying that the Shark Handvac isn’t supposed to replace your main cleaner. It’s intended for short bursts of cleaning, so it doesn’t need the same level of performance as an upright or cordless vacuum.. That said, we found that it offers impressive suction power that can pick up debris of all sizes from a range of surfaces.
But you need to make sure you get the angle of the nozzle right, otherwise you lose some of the cleaning power.. It’s not quite the best suction we’ve seen from a handheld, though.
We still think the.Difficult to clean under furniture.
As the floorhead of an upright is attached to the main body of the vacuum, it can be difficult to get into awkward spaces or underneath furniture. The hose can help with this, but cylinder and stick vacuums are often the better choice for low furniture.. Not great for cleaning stairs.
It can be difficult to use an upright vacuum on a staircase. The hose typically isn’t long enough to reach up an entire flight of stairs, so you’ll often need to move the vacuum half-way through..
